The Human Element

RSA contacted Melissa Miyamoto-Mills and myself to create the opening keynote for the 29th annual RSA Conference at San Francisco's Moscone Center on February 24, 2020. Famous Star Trek alum, George Takei, took the stage to present the RSAC 2020 theme - The Human Element.

With over 36,000 attendees and 700 speakers, we needed to create an impactful and awe-inspiring start for this huge audience. RSA spared no expense on their stage, and provided us with a massive LED wall to create a stunning show. In addition to this impressive LED backdrop, we also mixed in dynamic body projections on George himself to accentuate key moments.

We started from scratch with concepting and art direction, and eventually turned our storyboards and animatics into a 5 minute show.
